General Information
No. We currently operate online only and do not currently have a physical location, although it is something we may consider in the future. However, we hope you enjoy your shopping experience on our website.
We do our very best to keep every outfit true to size however each garment can fit slightly differently depending on fabric and style. For more information on sizing and fit visit our sizing guide
We encourage you to read the garment description for each individual product, as our size guide does not cater for individual products. Alternatively you can also get in touch with us for further, more detailed information.
We do our very best to keep sufficient stock levels but supply issues are often out of our control. However please contact us if there is anything in particular you have your eye on and we will personally contact you when we have or if we are to restock the item.
Orders and payments
We accept most major Credit Cards, Pay Pal and Google Pay, Apple Pay, After Pay and Zip Pay
ll orders that have been successfully placed will be accompanied by an order confirmation via email. This should come through within an hour from purchase and can sometimes land in the junk or spam folder so don't forget to check in there!
You can also find your order confirmation and the status of your order under your MODESTLY Account in the orders list.

Once an order has been placed in the system we are unable to add items to it. We can in some cases cancel items of your order, If you would like to add additional items please make a new order. We will still be able to ship the items together as long as we we are notified in a timely manner.
Due to the fast turnaround between placing your order and when we pack it, we’re unable to add any items to an order or change the size of an item. If you want to remove an item from your order, we can attempt to organize this for you prior to the order being shipped but this may not always be possible, if they are returnable you can send them back to us using our returns and exchange process.
Fantastic news! We do not include any physical invoices or receipts in our parcels. All of our invoices are emailed to the purchaser once the order has been successfully placed.

Once your order has been dispatched, a tracking number will be issued to you.
You will receive this via an email notification-ensure you check your JUNK folder if you do not recieve your tracking information. you may also log in to your MODESTLY account and head to the ‘Orders’ tab to track your order.
Our carriers may experience a few day's delay in transit, this is normal and is due to unforeseen circumstances in the delivery journey. It does not need to be cause for concern, however, if you are unsure keep an eye on your tracking details or contact the carrier for delivery network updates.

Do not Stress! We work very closely with our delivery partners to meet the Estimated Delivery Date provided to you at the time you place your order. However there is a small number of orders that don’t meet these ETAs for different reasons. While this is not an ideal experience, there is no need to worry about a delivery being late – just keep an eye on your tracking link and contact the carrier for updates on the delivery.

In most cases, parcels will turn up within a few hours from being scanned as delivered. If you’re worried about where your parcel is, we suggest you seek information from the carrier on where they dropped the parcel. If you are not home delivery drivers will try to make sure that your delivery is tucked away in a safe place, so check any hiding spots you might have around your home.
If you’re still unable to locate your parcel, please reach out to our customer service team by submitting a request here and they will do their very best to help you locate your order.
Returns and refunds
We offer a 14-day return policy. This means you have 14 days from the date you receive your item to initiate a return. Once your return request is approved and you receive the return label, you must hand the item over to Australia Post within 5 Business days. Please note that the return label will expire after 5 business days and cannot be used beyond this period. This policy helps ensure that the returned product remains in new condition, allowing us to process your refund smoothly.
We offer ONE Free return per order, You may return one item or a multiple of items as long as they are from 1 order.
Please also note that returns/exchanges aren't available for items that are on Sale/Clearance unless deemed faulty.

In addition to your statutory rights, if you change your mind we will happily offer an exchange for a different size or item using our returns process.

Make sure when you are returning outfits that they are in an AS NEW condition with tags still attached, no make-up marks, stains and perfumes
Faulty/damaged items:
We allow 7 days from the item being received to notify us-If you have received an item that is faulty or defective please reach out to our helpful customer support team directly via our contact page or by emailing us at info@modestly.com.au. We want to make this right so we offer a full refund/exchange or store credit for faulty/incorrect items

We Certainly do!
We provide 1 FREE return per order. You may return one or all items in an order. Any additional returns/exchanges in that order will be at the cost of the customer.
After you start the returns process we will email you a shipping label to return the item back to us.

We offer refunds for items, excluding clearance and sale items, provided they comply with our refund and returns policy.
Yes, you certainly can exchange your item! You can do this via the returns process
To ensure you get what you want. You may return the item you have, and once the return is accepted we will issue you with a store credit. You may then make a separate purchase for the new item that you would like to exchange to.
If an item you want to exchange for is out of stock, the value of the item you will be returning will still be available with store credit or you will be given a full refund.

Yes most definitely! When you are packaging your items Please include all relevant information (such as your order numbers) so that our team can process this for you as promptly as possible!
For Australia, Once your return has arrived at our warehouse, please allow for 48 hours for our team to process your return. For all international returns you will be issued your refund once we have received your items, Please allow an additional 48 hours for processing. If after tracking your item and your return has not been processed within 48 hours, please contact our friendly support team here or alternatively email us at info@modestly.com.au
We deeply apologise as we endeavor to deliver our customers quality items that are brand new! If you believe your garment is faulty, please reach out to our helpful customer support team here so we can have this sorted out as quick as possible for you! We allow 7 days from you receiving your items to notify us.
All orders are shipped with a re-sealable return satchel for your convenience! you can also purchase a postal bag/satchel from your local post office at your own expense or alternatively you can recycle any other bag or box you have.
If you made a purchase using a Buy Now/Pay Later service like Afterpay or Zip, we will issue your refund like normal which will be automatically applied to your afterpay or Zip pay account. The service merchant will be notified of the refund you have applied for.
