The problem with plastic!

Plastic pollution is a major problem that is altering habitats and natural processes, affecting millions of people's livelihoods, food production capabilities, and social well-being. It reduces ecosystems' ability to adapt to climate change and has a devastating impact on marine life.

When it comes to plastic pollution, the numbers are shocking. Did you know that there are more than 5.25 trillion pieces of macro and micro plastic in the oceans? That's a staggering 46,000 pieces per every square mile of ocean.

What's even more alarming is that plastic can take anywhere from 20 to 500 years to decompose, depending on the material's structure and environmental factors such as sunlight exposure. This means that plastic waste will continue to suffocate marine life, pollute soil, and exacerbate climate change for many generations to come if we don't take immediate and collective action.

As a responsible retailer, we understand the importance of sustainability, and we are doing our part to be eco-friendly. We believe that it is our social responsibility to contribute to environmental conservation by promoting sustainable practices in our operations.

So, how are we promoting sustainability, you ask? Well, keep reading to find out.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

First and foremost, we are using eco-friendly packaging for all our orders. We are conscious of the impact that traditional packaging can have on the environment, so we have opted for sustainable alternatives. We use compostable mailers and biodegradable tissue papers to pack our clothes. Not only are these options environmentally friendly, but they are also recyclable. We also use biodegradable shipping labels and thermal printing, which are both provided by sustainable suppliers.

We have partnered with Hero Packaging, AusPrint, and Packleo, all of which offer sustainable packaging solutions. By using these suppliers, we are confident that we are doing our part to reduce our carbon footprint.

Thank You Card

To show our gratitude to our customers, we include a thank you card to all orders to show our appreciation. Even the thank you card is eco-friendly! Yes, you read that right. Our thank you cards are made of biodegradable materials and are also recyclable. We want our customers to know that we appreciate their support, but we also care about the environment.

Carbon Offsetting

As a company, we understand that it can be tough to be 100% sustainable. But, we strive to make our operations as sustainable as possible. We also know that our customers want to contribute to a better world, and that's why we have provided an option for carbon offsetting when making a purchase. With this option, customers can contribute to a better world by making a small contribution. This contribution will offset the carbon emissions created from the shipping of their order - (Currently under maintenance)

Our Goal

At our core, we are passionate about the environment and sustainable practices. Our goal is to be responsible and conscientious, making sure that all aspects of our operations are as eco-friendly as possible. From sustainable packaging to carbon offsetting, we aim to do our part in creating a better world for future generations. We believe that customers, businesses, and the environment can coexist in a mutually beneficial relationship. We hope that, through our efforts, we can inspire others to do their part in saving the planet.

After all...Its not like we have a planet "B"
